What not to do
When having a conversation with staff, avoid the following:

Using derogatory words such as “crazy” or “psycho.”

Pressuring them to get their act together.

Avoiding them.

Giving advice, e.g., telling them to keep busy or get out more.

Minimizing the problem.
-
Assuming that the problem will go away on its own.
